Shipping policy

I. General Shipping Information

These conditions apply to all orders, regardless of the destination country.

1. Discreet Shipping & Privacy We attach the utmost importance to your privacy. All our packages are shipped in completely neutral boxes that give no indication of the product contained inside. The sender on the shipping label will exclusively be our neutral company name, Areoz GmbH. Neither product names nor the xlube.com logo will be placed on the outer packaging or the shipping label. The origin of the delivery is therefore completely untraceable from the outside.

2. Shipping Location and Processing Times All orders are shipped directly from our logistics center in Berlin, Germany.

  • Same-Day-Dispatch: All orders received and paid for on business days before 3:00 PM (15:00 CET/Berlin) will be processed and handed over to the shipping provider on the same day.

  • Shipping Days: Packages are handed over to DHL and DHL Express exclusively on business days.

3. Importance of Email Address and Phone Number Please ensure you provide a current email address and a valid phone number during checkout. This is extremely important, especially for shipping with DHL Express. DHL Express uses these contact details for proactive delivery notifications. This is the only way you can access the DHL "On Demand Delivery" portal, which allows you to actively control and influence your delivery (e.g., by issuing a signature release, choosing a preferred delivery day, or redirecting to a neighbor). Furthermore, for international shipments, any customs queries can be resolved quickly to avoid delays.

4. Address Details, Romanization & Plausibility Check To ensure a fast and error-free shipping process, we kindly ask you to provide your shipping address in Latin letters (romanized) whenever possible. Non-romanized characters can cause errors in the logistics providers' systems; providing a romanized address significantly facilitates our processing and prevents delays. Additionally, we verify the delivery details of all incoming orders. We expressly reserve the right to reject and cancel orders with incomplete, obviously incorrect, or implausible data (e.g., illogical address combinations or fictitious names). Please verify your shipping address carefully at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrectly provided address or failure to collect the package, we reserve the right to charge you for the resulting return shipping costs.

5. Shipment Tracking As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email. This email contains a tracking link that allows you to conveniently track the status of your shipment with DHL or DHL Express at any time.

6. Definition of "Business Days" & Public Holidays Business days for processing and shipping your order are considered to be Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays at the shipping location (Berlin) are not considered business days. No shipping takes place on these days, and the transit time of the packages is extended accordingly. Public holidays in Berlin (2026) with no shipping processing: New Year's Day (Jan 1), International Women's Day (Mar 8), Good Friday (Apr 3), Easter Monday (Apr 6), Labor Day (May 1), Ascension Day (May 14), Whit Monday (May 25), Day of German Unity (Oct 3), Christmas Day (Dec 25), Boxing Day (Dec 26).


II. Domestic Shipping (Germany)

1. Shipping Options & Specifics Within Germany, we ship with DHL and DHL Express. You can freely choose your preferred shipping method at checkout. The exact costs will be displayed there before you complete your order. Please note the following differences when making your selection:

  • DHL Standard: Regular shipping within Germany is highly reliable and generally as fast as express shipping (delivery often occurs on the next business day). Please note, however, that there is no guaranteed transit time. Standard packages are delivered from Monday to Saturday.

  • DHL Express: The key advantage of DHL Express lies in its prioritized processing and a guaranteed transit time. Important note: DHL Express does not deliver on Saturdays within Germany. Deliveries are made exclusively on business days from Monday to Friday.

2. Delivery to DHL Packstations Within Germany, we offer convenient delivery to DHL Packstations and post offices. Simply enter your postal number (Postnummer) and the number of your desired Packstation into the corresponding address fields at checkout.


III. International Shipping

1. Shipping Options & Advantages of DHL Express For international shipping, we also use DHL and DHL Express. The exact shipping costs depend on the respective destination country and will be transparently displayed at checkout.

  • Recommendation: DHL Express offers a tremendous advantage, particularly for international shipments. Packages receive priority handling, have a guaranteed transit time, and reach their destination significantly faster than standard shipping, especially across borders.

2. No Delivery to Packstations or P.O. Boxes For international deliveries, shipping to Packstations or P.O. Boxes is unfortunately not possible. Please make sure to provide a regular residential or business address at checkout.

3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Non-EU Countries) For deliveries to non-EU countries (e.g., Switzerland, UK, USA), additional customs duties, import taxes, and local fees may apply. Unless these are explicitly stated and calculated at checkout, they are not included in our shipping costs and must be borne by the recipient upon import. DHL Express often requires the email address or phone number provided at checkout for quick customs clearance.
